That's why if I do get one it will be with the seat delete. In the 20+ years that I've had extended cab pickups I can probably count on one had the number of times that somebody has ridden in the back seat.

Is seat delete any different than getting it with the seat and removing it? Or is there a different cab config?

It looks like seat delete adds some interior trim and saves you $249 but I can only find it in an extended cab configuration, not the 4 door. That might be a good thing for you because then you get the 6' bed.

There's a $240 discount for not getting the seat, but mostly you don't need to figure what to do with it after you take it out. There also is probably trim to cover where the seat otherwise would be.


OTOH you probably need to special order it that way, and can probably get a better deal on something they already have on the lot.

I never checked to see if a dealer had the seat delete option, I like the 4 doors. My F150 had two small doors in the back but never enough room behind the seats.

Looks like the trim kit is $280 to flatten out the surfaces after you remove the seats.

You can probably always sell it after the fact on e bay or CL and be ahead of the game

We use the 6ft box length more than the space behind the seat and the dogs fit in there just fine..

We've got the rang electronics set to work with the our homes wi-fi and it does show up on its display and shows as connected. Yet ever time I get into da truck if asks "you need to be connected to available wi-fi". What does your ranger do??
