.22 LR Ammunition - any updates on availability?

There seems to be no shortage of .22 if you are willing to pay .08-.10 per round. I think the ammo mfgs. got what they were looking for which was to get off the less than .02 per round.

Looks like the "new" Gander Mtn in O'Fallon IL is already closing ... no surprise, as there's never anyone in there and it's their third store in the area. Guess I'll stop in to see if there are any rimfire deals to be had.

Been ordering alot from them lately. I have amassed several boxes of the winchester plated bullets, as thats what the AR 22lr conversion bolt likes best for reliability and accuracy both. Have several boxes of 222 count, 333 and 555 count as well. (all the same rounds).

Havent really found anywhere else that has the availability in stock for less money.

Do not have the details handy but in news here they were closing several stores as they were filing bankruptcy. Store near me is not on the close list so have been told.

I've being using Academy, free shipping on orders over $25 and they have some pretty decent deals, but they're kinda spotty on when and if they have CCI Mini Mags, Winchester M22 or Federal AM22 in stock.

Just last month I ordered 20 boxes of Winchester 222 when they were on sale. My shipping was $19.87

But when I pull up to see aguila's it does indeed show the $41.55. so I don't know what's up.
