I'm optimistic and am about to drop below 15,000 rounds of standard velocity ammo.
There hasn't been a box of any .22 rimfire in our Branson supercenter since Jan, 2013. I suspect there never will be. They don't even have shelf space for it any more. Any other caliber you want is available, but for some reason they are just not going to stock it here anymore. Most gun shops locally have it. Plenty available at mail order.
My local Walmart in Fulton has about 2 shelves, but the largest single box is 333 rounds.

Yeah, that's been my experience at our Highland IL store, too. They removed the label from the shelf and have centerfire stuff there now.
Yes, and somewhere along the line they decided not to stock "black rifles" any longer either. I think that may be a corporate wide decision. Although they still stock ammo for "black rifles". :confused3:
