here is another look at the tail gate and the outside look of the plywood panel. Note that outside of the door jam is rabbited to accept the plywood. You also can see how the bracket fastens to the steel lip of the cart.

close up of the plastic flange. It came with a slight angle down to accept the hose angling up to it. In my design there is a horizontal connection so I had to trim a a little off the connector to square it up.

one more look from the back with just the last frame folded up. The hinges are rabbited out as well so everything fits together tightly.

this one is actuall the best view that illustrates the ship-lapping of the frames. Look closely at the edge of the very top frame. See how the adjacent frame parts tie together.

Thank you for the photos. But I have a change in plans. I was driving down my road yesterday and saw a Model 854 3pt pto Trac Vac out for sale. So I pulled in to check it out, the whole system cart, 3pt hitch pto 2000 cfm blower everything but the mower boot. The system is only 6 months old and they wanted $600.00 for everything. The price new on this system is $2500.00. So I bought it on the spot. So now my fathers in law is taking the power flow unit for he’s 2210 and were going to build the cart cover for him.

Wow. Great cost savings on that system. When you get it all mounted up and working, take some pics of it and post it to this thread. I am sure other readers would like to see what it looks like. Let us know how the cart cover goes for your father's in-law.

Ordered the boot for the 62c mower deck, and also had to order a new drive shaft for the blower unit. The blower was on a Kubota so for some reason they had to shorten the drive shaft 4" to fit the Kubota. When I mounted the blower on my 2210, the drive shaft was about 2 -3/4” short. The guy I bought it from told me the drive shaft may not fit my tractor. Hope to have everything by Thursday. What I don’t understand is the smaller Kubota’s basically having the same size lift arms on the 3pt as a 2210, so why would they need to cut 4” off the shaft?

I hear ya dude. Industry standard PTO shafts have retractable/expandable lengths. So you would think TRAC-VAC would have the foresight to standardize on a PTO shaft such that one shaft could fit many tractors. Nope. I bet a standard one could be cut to the length that you need. The two halfs separate completely so I do not see why not. Keep us posted.

Trac Vac wanted $167.43 for there shaft. So I ordered a universal shaft for $84.00 and will have to cut it down.
