Noticed some issues with the cut quality on my 2305 so I deceided to go through the process of leveling the deck out.
Read the manual and it warns me 42 times not to allow the lift arms to touch the stops. Why are they there then? Anyhow, one arm was with in 1/8" of the stop when all the up and the other was 3/4" to 1" away from stop when lifted all the way up.
I thought it weird to have such a large difference. So I lifted the deck all the way and leveled it out side to side. When I was done the big difference in the lift arm gap was gone.....thought ok nice I got it. Then I lowered the deck, checked it for level, then realized it was about an inch off!?
Basically the deck doesn't stay level when going up and down. The dealer had the adjustment out of whack so the deck would be level in the lowered position.
Is there something out of alignment, could there be adjustment issues with the front bracket?
Thanks for your thoughts
