I've been looking at the 2920, with FEL and BH, and got quotes. One give me 21,500, plus 2500 more for the MMM. He said he could get me the 3200, for about 1,000 more. The other give me 21,900, for 2920 Tractor, Loader, and BH. Plus 2500 for MMM.
Once I begin to jew the second one, on the price; he offered me the TBL, with a thumb, tooth bar for loader, loaded back (AG tires) and a 48 inch box scraper for 22,000. Insurance - another 16 dollars a month, for 48 months.
That said, if I were buying a tractor, there's no way I'm getting a Ballast Box. If I need weight in the rear, while using the FEL, I'll use the Box Scraper. It would come in handy for breaking up hard ground that the FEL may not be able to crack, as easy, which gives me two reasons for the BS. This seems like a no brainer, but some may see a better use for a Ballast Box.
I tried to get insurance throwed in, for 22,000 even, but so far no luck. There's no doubt, in my mind, that he'll give in and offer everything for 22,000 - or less. If he won't, I'll simply take my business elsewhere. Why? Because I'm that stubborn! And, of course, I know the economy is going to collapse; which is why I'll wait for a better deal on any other implements - such as the MMM.
