Took your advice and also got the HD top link bracket for Lucy!. If I'm not mistaken, it looks like the same bracket (mines a B7500):

That looks like the same bracket. Sure those aren’t copies of my photos. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Right on! how much could it cost per macine ? I would pay the extra $10 that it costs them and they would then be able to brag about how heavy duty the tractor is in the sales info........

My cost was about the same as Ron's. $73 for the bracket, and $5 for the bolts (they actually sent me a handful of each type). So I guess I got a few extra bolts.

Took about 30 minutes to R&R the brackets. Had to drop the boxblade from the 3PH, and remove the toolbox to gain access to the bolts under the seat.

Ron,

I did notice one thing. I had to spin the vent tube around 180 degrees to get it inside the little cut-out on top. I look at your photo, and I don't see the vent tube at all. Does yours even have a vent tube?

My 2910 does not have a vent tube in that location. I looked though my Parts List and could not find it. The only vent or breather that I could find for the transmission was where the PTO and transmission input shaft goes through the clutch housing. I'm sure there is one but at this time I can't find it. May be some else on TBN knows where it is on the 27-2910 tractors.

Flip the seat forward and look on the left side of the rockshaft
(hyd. cylinder) cover I think that's where the "rear" breather is on those, but then again I may be confusing it with the "Ls".

By the way, Good call on the HD top link bracket. I'd recommend that option for all Kubota's even if you don't have a backhoe. Cheap insurance....

Kubmech, as usual, I'm sure you're right 'cause that's about where it is on the B2710, so I'm confident it's in the same place on the 2910.

Kubmech & Bird
With you two experts advising me on the location, /w3tcompact/icons/clever.gif I'm not even going to check if I have one. /w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
