Your right again./w3tcompact/icons/cool.gif My FEL manual shows hose running inside frame. See attached illustration. I wonder why it was run out side of frame. I went out and looked at mine. It is run inside frame. But it's hard to see on my tractor, because Tip & Tilt hoses are around it.

I wonder if they moved it when they were working on the tractor I don't remember it being down there like that. If you notice there is a notch in the frame in front of the where the line goes into the case. I put the hose inside the frame up to that notch. It still don't look right.

I'm really starting to get concerned about the position of that hose. I don't remember having anything hanging down like that as I have mowed a lot of brush that would have grabbed ahold of that where it is. It is not acceptable. I don't have my manual, but Ron's picture shows the whole line inside the frame, whereas mine is outside the frame all the way from the front end loader. I wonder if I should mention this fact. That hose just doesn't look comfortable where it is. Seems like after I moved it like I did, it will now most likely rub a hole in it.

Alan, I'd never really compared my hose routing to the manual. The manual does show it routed inside, but if it makes you feel any better (or worse?/w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif), mine is routed outside, too, and it has the fabric sleeve, shown in the manual, and then is held up in the middle by a wire tie to the tube above that frame so it doesn't hang down below the frame.

That makes me feel better. Mine is tied to something just under the control box, infront of, and under the brake pedal, but droops below frame level before it makes it way up to where it goes into the side of the case at the back.

I'm sure it doesn't make any difference at all unless we run over big brush or limbs or such that snags and breaks that line. Hopefully, I won't do that./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif

Yes, that's what it is. I know it all too well from my TnT project.

Just tuck it up in the frame and zip-tie it into place. That should protect is fine.

My hose was routed that way when I first got the tractor. I unscrewed it from the valve and re-routed it, since the fitting was loose at the valve anyway. It really does belong on the inside, but it was wire-tied up pretty good by the dealer. I'll bet its a common "whoops" that assembly guys realize after they've done it, but then don't bother to change it, since we all want our tractors ASAP after we sign on the dotted.
