I am interested in getting a 3 pt log splitter to run off of my tractor. Can you run a hydraulic line from one of the FEL hydraulic outputs or do I need a seperate rear remote. I currently do not have any rear remotes. If I need a rear remote is there a special type?

I run a line from the front loaders output back to the 3pt splitters control. From the control on the log splitter it goes back to dump fluid into the front loaders tank or reserve. This with a open hyd. system. Just need to buy a couple of quick connects and two long sections of hose. Not fancy but works .

I run mine off the loader bucket connections on my JD 790: HPIM3028.JPG I tie the joy stick off to the fender with a tarp strap & use the control valve on the splitter: HPIM3027.JPG

It's not fast, but keeps up with me! ~~ Lowell
