3 PT Carryall box ?

I believe using stake pockets on the sides will allow us to quickly add/remove the sides. However, what is the best way to secure the corners of the sides to the front boards in a manner that keeps the sides from moving around. More importantly, this mount also needs the flexibility to allow us to QUICKLY detach the sides from the front. Any suggestions?

Here are pics of one I built using scrap PT pieces from the clearance bin at home despot, scrap conduit and pvc, a piece of vinyl decking for the chainsaw holder and four casters from HF to roll it around the shop floor.The back "gate" uses stake pockets and rack corners to attach. The frame is a TSC one with the top link hole annoyingly drilled for a cat 2 pin
It rarely comes off the tractor in spring summer fall

Trook -- find a set of rack hinges or connectors. You can see cheapies on the top corners of the "gate" on mine in the pictures. There are nice ones made in cast. You can also use hinges with a loose pin --- make a pin in an L shape that you can pull out by hand

I used an old pallet for the base of the carryall. Then I attached 2x3s to the bottom of the pallet.

Then made stake pockets out of 2x3s. Put a washer in between to allow the inserted 2x3s or 2x4s to slide in and out.

At the back corners, I put hinges on to pull the back to the sides.

On the back, I put hinges in it to allow half of it to fold down, to ease loading and unloading without having to take the back completely out.

I just put old carpet or cardboard in the bottom to keep stuff from going through the slots in the pallet.

You could do something like this. I have a set for my trailer and they work well. The only issue is that I can't see to find them on the Northern Tool website anymore. They have the picture for them, but nothing else.

I'd search for them, but its hard to without a name!

They are called stake rack fasteners or stake rack corners.

I haven't had a paper catalog in a while but I think that AW Direct had corner bracket as well but I don't see them in a quick look online.

I,m begining to have second thoughts of using the treated 2x10,s I have , I,m afraid it may end up being a little to heavy for this little tractors needs . So as ussuall I still haven,t got much Accomplished . . Bob
