Devin94,

They sure do, just click here to read it in PDF format. You can find it on the John Deere web site by clicking on the residential section, then click riding mowers and then click on John Deere Advantages on the right had side of the page.

Last year at my dealer we had a guy return his new X series for an unknown reason. I don't know what's not to like about those machines.

Looks like it does not cover the 4110 thx, D

Do you want to return your tractor or something? That would be hard to convince the dealer to do I bet. You will probably have to bite the bullet and sell it yourself to get a different machine.

Just having second thoughts I guess. After all the trouble with the rear tires, then I had an issue with the deck instalation hardware. Now I got a growl in the hydro. I t mows nice though. thx, D

Ah I see I only saw one of your posts and did not know you were having trouble. If it makes ya feel any better about the whining hydro I work for a JD dealer and see many small hydro JDs and drive them. They all whine loud in my opinion. I have a gear tractor so I am not used to it. I would give it some time and see if you have a problem you do have a 2 year warranty so if anything breaks bring it in and they will fix it for free!

yes, you are probably correct. I will just wait and see. I just noticed something else today. Looks like I am missing the right side grab handle. There are plugs in the fender where it should be. All the photos I have seen shows two handles. Oh well. thx, Dino

Ah, JD does not include a right hand handle on some models. For example my new 990 came with those plugs I knew it would so I ordered the other handle for 15 bucks and put it on.

Devin,

After reading reading through all your posts my first thought was 'Welcome to my world'. I have had several 'issues' with my 4110 also, and the dealer has been less than helpful.

The growl, I believe, is normal. My 4110 growls and whines in some fashion or another whenever its moving. The first time I used a turning brake I thought the rear end was being ripped out.

The deck clearance issue was a real problem for me. It is the most aggravating thing about the tractor and I took an extreme measure to fix it - I put on bigger tires.

After my experiences I would not recommend one anymore, or any Deere product for that matter, but the 4110 fits my current specific needs fairly well. I actively looked for a replacement for a couple months but in the end I decided to keep it and live with the remaining issues.

Two features of the 4110 that I was unwilling to give up are the floating deck and the easy FEL mount/dismount system. The alternatives available in my area just don't have them.

Good luck and keep us posted.

What size tires did you go too? Front and rear? I have heard that you have to be somewhat carful about changing tire size on somethnig with four wheel drive. I guess it is a front to rear gear ratio thing. My deck does not raise high enough. The deck upstop is against the frame, so it cant raise higher. I am thinking of removing the deck upstop, then carefully raising the deck, while adjusting the arms. Maybe I can get anthor 3/4 inch or so. If so, I will shorten the deck upstop and put it back on. It also hold the tensioner or a guide I think. I have not used the turning brake yet. Cant wait!!! thx, D
