go try a Kubota, most others, or even an older Deere to see what "true Blending" is like, there is a huge difference.

Ditto. My 3320 valve likes one operation at a time only, unlike my previous 2 Kubotas. But my tractor is just a toy, so it's no biggy. If I had to do any real work with the loader I would have given more priority to this issue before purchase.

Love my 3320 though.

I have spent the last 2 weeks going to three js dealers. I have worked at least 20 3000 and 4000 series cut loaders at these dealers lots. NONE will blend like I am accustomed to. I showed the sales guys this to no avail. I even started a used kubota on one's lot and showed the dealer the difference. He was amazed!

I am very dissappointed that J D can't build a solid fully functional loader for these cut tractors. Customer support was a joke! After being transferred 10 times, and being put on hold for 2+hours, I was told that "thats the way it is".

I am still very confused by the fact that several posters have said their cuts will blend. Others said their's won't. Am I just expecting too much???
I am willing to even pay extra for a different loader valve,or joystick.

What modifications will make this tractor blend????Come on you hydraulic guys, Help me out.

I want to buy green, but don't want to be mad every time I work the loader and it only performs one function at a time or does "blend " but at a snail's pace.

Curious, when the stick is pulled towards you into curl mode and held there, is it even physically possible to move it towards up or down mode ? (regardless if it was running or not.)

I was on my 3520 today and removing the loader I got blending movements, going up and down, the bucket was dumping and curling without any issue. All I had to do is start the main direction and the vary off the direction just a little and the other movement starts and was easily controllable.

But doesn't it slow to a crawl at that point?

Nope, it actually goes so fast that a few times i did not catch and dumped the stuff i was haulin out before I wanted to and so I ended up with more time on the tractor to get it back in. This happens with the rpms no higher than 2000 rpms, and it is not slow at all, smooth but it is not like you are waiting more than a few seconds for that bucket to tip one way or the other all the way to the stops.

PBT Sisson - I too am confused by this, I have finally concluded that many simply don't have experience with "true blending". (At least as far as the open station tractors, the cab units do have a different valve, and may actually blend, haven't tried one.)

I have tracked this issue since I purchased my 3320 in early 2005, and have yet to see an open station 3X20 trator do "true Blending". As I have said repeatedly, I am a big fan of these tractors, but they certainly have this issue.

This has become a very "tired" discussion over the past few years, please don't respond that your tractor does "true blending" if you don't have at least several hundred hours on machines that do to compare to.

My current 2007 3720 open station will not blend, it slows.

The 2008 I tested at the dealer was a 3520 cab. It blended like the large tractors we own at full speed. This had the deluxe cab and rear scv's, electronic diverter, and I believe power beyond.

My cab 3720 will be here in 2 weeks, I will let you know if it blends. I only have one rear scv added on the deluxe cab.

Well I have a 2008 3520 with Deluxe CAB, mid-PTO, rear SCV, and blending apparently works well. I do not have Power beyond, nor an electonic diverter (Well I don't think I have this?). I would imagine that it works on the 3720 Cab tractor too.

Looking back, weren't most of the no votes were OS tractors, some slow vote Cab tractors and some fast vote Cab Tractors, but i cannot imagine that there would be a feature difference like that with the same loader and different mounts?

also according to the 2006 Deere literature on the 300 Series Loaders (see attachment) do allow simultaneous Loader boom/bucket operation.
