Give the gas fumes a few minutes to settle into the nest, fire is not necessary the fumes will kill them. Fire is however really satisfying![]()
I've had good luck with charcoal lighter fluid. It's not as explosive as gasoline. I squirted a good amount down the hole and lit it. It created a 10" flame shooting out of the hole that looked like a fusie. It burned for about an hour with an occasional little flaming kamikaze shooting out of the hole. When it was all done so were the bees.
