You will need help on the frame and roof panels. (maybe a TBN outing ). woh-oh ...sounds like another barn raising /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif ... I'll try to shoot for Nov ... No way I can be ready by Jun and then we're into hurricane season .. will have to wait for that to be over. Actually - just looked at a calendar ... Nov 10 - 13 is a 4 day weekend for me .... add a week prior to that for prep ..... certainly going to put this under consideration. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif (hurricane season isn't officially over til the end of Nov ... but I might be able to slip out - depending)

DT construction in Gore, Ok, 918-489-5764, i don't know if they will go as far away as you are or not: BCI 800-766-5793 has a 30x50 for the same price, but was 9 weeks behind, they have a bunch of crews, and i think they go further out than most barn builders.they are also at www.bcibarns.com

Here is a picture of my 30 x 50 x 16 shop. No internal poles, the skin is the structure. I am required to have a 70 lb snow load by the county, so that dictated the sloped sides. Cost was $ 7500 for building, $5000 for concrete, $1500 for door, and around $4000 for labor, and other expenses.

Jim.

Jim, 2 boats, 2 antique cars, 2 garden tractors, 2 garden tillers, snowblower, and tons of junk, plus my tractor and 1/2 ton pickup. It is full, I wish it were 60 X 80!!!! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

Hi Bill,
That is really nice!!! My neighbor has one like that, and it has the semitransparent panels in the roof to light the place up. Never a problem when running a stove pipe out the side or ceiling /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Heehaw and everyone else, this has been a great post for those of us that are still barnless. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif I’ve enjoyed seeing the different styles and thank everyone for sharing pricing information. Now with a better idea of what it will take I only have to convince the wife she really wants a new barn more than a kitchen remodel. That will be a cold day in ….!
