3720 IT'S HERE!!!!!!

New tractor and 59" front mount blower finally showed up today!!!!! Had to try er out with some extremely wet heavy snow.... WOW what a difference from the lil 3203 and 68" rear blower. The added power was very noticable and chewed thru the snow quite easily. Not used to having heated cab...and boy that is gonna be nice, got quite warm in a hurry.

Now headed out to the shop to install rear wiper, rear lights, and maybe the radio. Dealer will bring the 300CX loader up later this week. More pics to come!!!

Great looking tractor, have fun with it. Be careful when installing the radio, the roof seal is very easy to rip or install wrong. Do a search on this site to give you a little info on this subject.

Am jealous!!! Waiting 5 weeks now for 3520. Actually, tractor came in last week, now waiting for 300cx loader. Must be a loader shortage in this country since you are waiting for one also. And wouldn't you just know it, the snow started melting today.

That's a sweet rig! We could have used you in VA with that snowblower the last month. If I ever replace my TC35D it will be with a cab tractor of some kind.

Thanks guys!!! I am still a bit giddy over having it finally!!! Got the rear wiper and rear work lights installed tonite. Wiper was a PITA (pain in the azz). But done deal, even with the washer fluid pump and hose to the rear glass. It's in. Kinda makes a person WAY nervouse when the back glass is hanging from only 2 pivot points (see pics).

Still need to install radio.... but... I did NOT touch the cab top tonite... but as a couple of you mentioned... the cab seals. Well.... as you can see from the pics I think I already have an issue The outer seal(as far as I can tell), Is already hanging out over both rear signal lights. I will take this issue up with the dealer in the morning, but am NOT pleased!!!!!

Other than that... I have to say that this purchase will be one that won't need to be re-done!!!!! More reports and pics to follow.:thumbsup:

One other question.... where in the heck do you mount a toolbox or chain bucket???? I studied and studied how and where to locate things but I think I got dumber the more I thought

I hear ya on the melting snow! Been hitting mid 30's here for a week now. Dealer has my loader on site but.... as my luck has been with this deal... he did'nt have the shop install the loader masts or anything associated I called him this evening and he says it will be delivered and I will install it myself... thus changing the final price

That sucks that the salesman turned out to be worthless. I dealt with a useless old coot of a salesman at [dealership name removed] a couple of years ago on a hydraulic kit. I finally got an apology from the salesman after I blasted him via email and copied the dealership's owner, along with threatening to contact Deere corporate for wasting my time and money.

Personally I think it would be better for you if you had let the dealer install the rear wiper/washer, radio and loader. That way if something goes wrong, you have a leg to stand on; but doing it yourself could have opened up a can of worms regarding possible warranty claims in the future. I thoroughly understand the need to save a buck, and no doubt you can do a better job installing the accessories than the dealer can.

In any case, stick to your guns to have the dealer make things right, and have fun with your new toy.

That piece of rubber hanging in the back maybe the drain tube for the condensation from the A/C and not the seal. I can't tell for certain from the picture. It think it is the drain tube and it hangs like that in the back. Just point to it and ask you dealer "What is that?"

JD makes a small plastic tool box that sits under the front, LH corner of the cab. It sets on a metal bracket and held on by a rubber strap. It is about 6x6x10". About $50 and kind of over priced. I had one on my cabbed 3720. There is not any good locations for a tool box on a cabbed 3720 and I tried to find other locations. The 4x20 series can mount a nice sized metal tool box on the front of the grill guard. The FEL of the 4x20 has more clearance at the guard than the 3x20 series.

When I ordered my tractor, I got all of my accessories installed by the dealer with 15% off list. They know how to do it quicker, have others available to help and most of the time do it better because they have done it multiple times before. Depending on options it can take a several hours to install some stuff. The best part is, I got the discount and they still did the work. Like you said, if it doesn't work or if they break something, then they are on the hook to fix/replace.

No need to pay $50 if I can help it And no.... the rubber is NOT a drain tube.. it is foam rubber with a sticky back, (similar to hardware store weather strips for the do-it-yourselfer's)

Can say I am WAY impressed with the front blower.... the ability to have down pressure on the blower was nite and day difference vs the 3pt blower which tended to "float" up on the hard pack and sloppy wet snow.

And yes MJNCAD.. I will have a good discussion tomorrow when papers and such are signed and finalized

TOTALLY agree! If you install it, you own any issues or problems you might create. Having the dealer install is cheap insurance. HAving said that, I did install my own cab, but I didn't buy it from my dealer. No issues yet....:thumbsup:

jjmarotz; That is definitely the broken outer seal. I have seen it many times (bad seal and radio install) and I had a couple laying around at one point in time.

Get the Dealer to fit that seal under your warranty, and maybe you will save some money on the Radio install as it is probably better that they be done at the same time or you do your radio first and then let them do the seal replacement.

Talked with the dealer and shop foreman yesterday about the seals. They told me go ahead with the radio install and if other seals are bad then they would take care of it under warranty. That outer seal is only cosmetic he told me, no water can get in there but some dust could, so try to restick it in place and we will go from there.

Hopefully the loader shows up tomorrow, dealer ordered loader mounts for open station instead of cab tractor 1 other moronic move by him.

Nuru.... the blower lists for $5800, I got this one for $5000 because it was used, (like maybe twice). Pricey bugger, but man does it work slick!!!!

Oh and got the TNT kit yesterday too. Can't use the tilt ram just yet till I get the electric diverter kit, but did put on the hyd top link. Man that is gonna be just tooooooo nice!!!!!
