Well me and the wire wheel are spending so much time together here lately that we're both now on a first name basis. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
After soaking all the fasteners in liquid paint stripper I use the wire wheel to further clean and polish each and every fastener before giving them each a coating of Black Oxide, then a dunk in finish coat to seal them. Black Oxide is not a paint it is formed by soaking the fasteners in a mixture of selenium and phosphoric acids.
