Dirt Moving 3ph adjustable lift arm, keeps adjusting!

Good news! I was able to grind off the effected threads and get it put back together. Best part is, the re-threading made it much tighter and it no longer spins loose on my hahahaha! I've attached some pics of the damage and repair.

Thats good you got it fixed. I carry a piece of 1/2x10 galvanized pipe and just snug them with that and I haven't had any problems. Before that I was just doing it by hand and it would come out of adjustment all the time.

Yeah thanks, I've been meaning to get a cheater bar like that to torque it down with but haven't got around to it.

I had a similar problem, and since I don't have a need to adjust the arm, I went a different route. I went to Fastenal with the arm and ordered a left hand thread nut (M20) I think and a right hand thread as well, and sandwiched the assembly with the new nuts. I have not had any problem with the assembly coming loose and causing issues. I don't use the three point for anything but mowing so I just wanted it to be level with the other side. It took a while to get the left handed nut, but problem solved, and I put the original stop nut in the tool box after finding out to replace it was $28.00 from Mahindra....Fastenal was a cheap solution.
