Yeah Brian,
It rained and hailed while you guys were at the show. It's been raining hard since you left too. Today was the first Sunshine day we've had for a while so I took off and played golf in town. Tomorrow is supposed to be a nice day too, but then possible rain for a week straight after that.

As much as the rain hinders getting stuff done around the ranch, it sure is going to make the place green for a lot longer. As you know, it is going to give you a lot more seat time mowing.:)

Ha, that's for sure!
I forgot to mention that I took your giant road grader off your trailer while you were at the show too. You saw where I parked it for the time being. Hope you don't mind if I paint it red while it's here?:D:D I know it's your favorite tractor color.

Later on after the guys left, I was able to compact and grade that hole where the trees were.
Of course it rained so there will be some touch up work needed. But nevertheless, we have a straight shot in and out of the garage now.

Actually I was thinking sand blast, primer, black or grey paint with red side panels. I'll do my 5 footer first for my Mahindra 3215. If you think that it looks alright then we can do the one at your house. I know that the yellow piece out in the yard looks out of place.:D Your place is to nice to have that old rusting hulk sitting out in front, maybe it should be hidden out behind the barn until I can get back up there to get a good finish on it.;)

Your place sure looks pretty with the green vegetation, and the snow pics were pretty also. I bet you and Loretta never leave there, I mean like move as in never leave.

Brian, of course I was just pulling your leg...
After all, Loretta's tractor is yellow too. It would be a hoot to hook that grader up to her Jinma and watch all four tires spin as it tries to pull it. BTW, I don't have a sand blaster anyway, so you'll have to bring one up next visit if you want to paint it.

Thanks Rox,
This is the first time we've spent 3 weeks solid up here without returning to Rancho.
We will have to return this coming Sunday so Loretta can go into the office for Monday and Tuesday. But you're right, we wish we didn't have to do that at all. I don't know how long she will continue to work, but a year ago we were all set for both of us to be fully retired by now. But with the economy and our investment income having taken a hit, her income sure makes a difference at this point!

Will do Rob, I'm assuming that your new compressor has arrived. :D Shouldn't take but a couple of days.

Yes, I picked up the air compressor Tuesday and got it off the truck with my fork lift. I had to move some machinery around to find a good spot for it, but I got it figured out. Now I have to run all the air lines and outlets all around the barn. I picked up a couple tools too to help me with the plumbing. I've got a big project going on right now adding Top and Tilt to Loretta's tractor too, plus a bunch of other mods and improvements, so timing the installation of the air lines will be a fun deal.

The compressor is a 2 stage 80 gallon Campbell Housefield single phase 220v compressor.
I plan to run 3/4" pipe all around the barn. I've still got to tram the other mill and surface grinder in too. It's slowly starting to happen though.
Always something to do around here.

Nice set up Rob. Looks like you should have no problem building anything you want.

Is the compressor going to be installed inside the shop or outside? Some of the newer units wind-up pretty fast and I was wondering if noise is an issue?
