Another follow up question. I decided to tackle the fuel lines myself. Last night I remvoed and replaced with new the easy lines. This morning I am tackling the lines that go to the tank. I have successfully removed them. When I took off the line going from the tank to the banjo bolt on the filter i noticed the hole where it comes into the banjo bolt was plugged with stuff. :(. So, I don't know if the line was breaking down and that's part of the crud, or if it came in thru a small hole in the line or if it came from the tank. Anyone have any thoughts on that? Is there a drain on the bottom of the fuel tank you can open, drain and look for crud? I looked but didn't see one. I'm ready to put the new lines on but want to be sure I'm not going to have more crud plugging the new lines.

The ports in the banjo bolt fittings are small enough to trap crud, and they become a filter of sorts, but not a good one. If we get a poor running tractor and the fuel lines are good, we will look for adequate fuel flow at the filter housing. If weak flow, we blow back through the hose and generally get a full stream. We then know there is some crud upstream between the filter and tank, and the smallest space is at the banjo fittings and the tank outlet.

By mentioning this, you will have saved some reader a real headache down the road. We all get stuff in the tank occasionally, even the most careful guy does it seems. By diagnosing like I mentioned, they will find what you have found. Clean that and you are good to go.

Thanks so much guys. I finally found it in the drain plug on the tank. I drained a gallon and some small crud came out. I kept draining until I got no more contaminants. Yeah, the hole at the banjo bolt is very small. Thereby trapping and clogging.
New lines going on, everything cleaned out, hoping I'm good to go

I think you are and I'd put money on it, and even give odds. Sounds like you have things well underway and are nearly ready for seat time. :)
