I contacted my internet provider, and this is what they recommended. Said they'd install it for $75 so I'm probably going to go with it.

Microtik makes good stuff and that seems like a bargain on installation. 60ghz is sensitive to rain, but a 300ft link should not have any trouble.

So the whole reason I wanted to add WiFi to the shop is so I could control the lights via Alexa in the house. Bought two WiFi switches, one for the basement outside light and one shop outside light. The basement switch doesn’t have a neutral wire so the switch I bought won’t work. I’m super bummed about that.

Can anyone suggest a smart on/off switch that doesn’t require a neutral wire or an additional hub?

Sorry - no idea on those, but this is why I ALWAYS run the power to the switch, so I can control it later on (neutral is present). (Except for oddball situations where it probably won't mater anyways...)

It seems to be working well. I have it set on 68 and when I'm out there I rarely hear it kick on. It has warmed up a considerable amount in the past couple of weeks, so it's really hard to get a good gauge on it.
