I put a new head on the 22HP Robin engine on my PT422 and have it almost complete except for the throttle and choke connections. I made some notes but want to make sure I got all the springs in the right holes. I'm having the PT towed to Ditch Witch and having the valves adjusted and the float position rebuilt on the lift valve. I would appreciate it if someone could post a picture of the connections. Not sure if it matters but the oil filling cap is black and on the side of the valve cover.

Thanks
Dan

Thanks for the welcome. PT has been down for a while and I sure miss it's many uses around the homestead. I have a 300lb+ anvil and base I'd need to move. Dan

It's a 300 lb anvil but still more then I can lift. What happened to it so it can't lift anything now is a bad valve guide.

Oh man my eyes are going bad. I am sure I saw 3000lbs but now it is clearly 300lb. Still. Big ole anvil...

I have a dream of one day replacing the control valves with something of quality.... Something that doesn't leak down, that is too over sensitive, and that has more than one control. But that is just a dream...

The PT was hauled out today to get the final mechanical touches. I installed a new battery that I got from the Kubota dealer since I couldn't match the old Interstate battery that I replaced. I got the Robin muffler from Northern Tool for just under a $100. I had to cut a small part off the muffler so that the motor cover could close. Looks like the old muffler was trimmed on both sides.
Hoping that when I get it back it comes off the truck a lot faster then it went on it.

I'll post the results when I get the PT back and get the results from Ditch Witch. I assuming they will start working on the valves and the float problem on Monday.
