I have never driven a 422, but I find it difficult to believe that a single steering ram is superior to two rams. For one thing, Power Trac is not given to wasting money by slapping on parts for which there is no demonstrable need.Tim_in_CT said:never reached priority status yet.
Remember the 422 advantage: single wheel cylinder means alot better steering, less then a turn of the steering wheel lock-to-lock, so to say.
Dual rams also provide an equal steering response, side to side. I don't think that is the case with a single ram. Also, there is such a thing as steering that is too fast. To me, the 425's steering feels right.
