2nd most disappointing attachment: Quick Hitch
see about 4 1/2 minutes in, video is worth watching anyway

I love the reference to LP's Quick Hitch not lining up with their own implements with the QH sticker on...
exactly my experience.

mowed roadsides on a very hot day, first time I had to switch the a/c fan to 3 out of 4

I watched the video and he is exactly right. Even within the same manufacturer some implements don’t work. The quick hitch he showed was the exact model I returned...haha.

This is the picture I use when I am describing my 4707 to people and it sure makes me smile so I thought I would share. Also I am thinking about replacing the speakers to get better highs and lows, it seems like I have to crank it real high just to hear the music.

Called the dealer and got a quote to add a 3rd remote in the back and a 3rd function on the loader. Does this quote look right? Have any of you had this stuff done after the purchase? 6E87CCCB-4067-4BD0-8AF1-E73E98E8DD48.png

I can’t speak for the rear 3rd remote but my dealer sold me the front third function kit for $823 and install was $250 for both that kit and the front fenders. I don’t see a separate line item for a different loader joystick. Not sure if they had to swap that out or if it was already installed on the lot.

When I was pricing early on the front 3rd function was around $1000 installed on the 1760 or the 4707 if I wanted it. When I got it, it came with a new joy stick and wire. I’ll take a photo next week of the joy stick when I’m back and post it. I liked the way the stock joystick looks better but it works good.

When I was buying the tractor I thought they had told me a little over $1000 for the 3rd function and like $1500 for the remote but so I was pretty surprised at the price. He did say this would be the updated controller rather than a diverter button on my current joystick. I’ll keep shopping.. No good dealers around here, it’s been super frustrating working with the 2 local dealerships.

My third function was around $1000 or so. Looks a little high IMHO. My dealer charges from his whole goods parts list and makes a little on the install. They are fair.

Picked up the trailer, it is 27 plus 5 dual tandem with a deck on the neck. My original plan was a 27 deck over bumper pull but after reading many threads that say to go bigger and a very strong push from my dealer this is what I got. The thinking here is longer trailer to position the load over the trailer axles not truck axle. Deck on the neck for grapple/buckets. The tractor is about 17 feet and the cutter adds about 10 more. I think I will back it on with the front tractor wheels behind the rear trailer wheels to protect my truck axle.

I was going to get a Texas pride trailer made since the make them about 3 hours from me but the dealer Brunos was switching from Big Tex to Texas Bragg and that price close to Texas Pride and quality close to Big Tex. I will post a pic with the whole set up later when I get it all worked out.

now this applies to any tractor, regardless of make, with a three point.
washed my tractor yesterday early in the morning to beat the heat, and last step was to lube the fittings.
Well nice surprise to be found.
Needless to say, I put the replacement pin back in facing forward and up, something yanked the old one out and I got lucky
here. Things tend to bend and get wrecked when a fitting lets loose.

I have been waiting three weeks for dealer to get back to me when factory rep will be out to work on my clutches.
At low idle or even at "A" idle which for me is 1350 rpm, the tractor has a slight surge forward, the forward clutch is just engaging.
Not enough to do anything, but you can see the tires move just slightly. About every ten seconds it does this until tractor is warm.
Now I haven't tried this with the gear levers in neutral, or the range selector in neutral, etc, just the PS lever in neutral. That should be all I need, right?

nice tow rig CrazyDad

I think what you are experiencing is viscous drag from the oil in the power shuttle clutch pack - the clutches are not engaging but the clutch discs are close enough that the fluid tries to pull it along. It will typically disappear as the oil heats up or after accumulating some hours. If the range lever or transmission lever is out of gear I think you will find it it will not move at all. I would have to look but I'm pretty sure the owners manual says something about making sure everything is in neutral and setting the park brake before getting out of the tractor.
