50 hour service - dealer cost?

   / 50 hour service - dealer cost? #21
For my 2920 $321.25. All the parts, fluid and filters came to just over 200. It seems like a good deal to me, someone else has to dispose/recycle all of the fluids, and I get to spend 2 hours playing with other tractors. :D

2620 50 hr. service was 417. This included pick up and delivery and changing the front axle fluid as well which is not normally required at 50 hr. but recomended by my dealer + it got cleaned and shined up real nice and came home looking brand new! Good Luck.

Wish I had your dealer. That sounds very fair, since it includes pickup and delivery.

Huhh ?
Kubota has it's own branded UTF ?
I can understand the re-boxed Wix filters, but orange hydraulic oil is just WEIRD !
(-:

Having done the 50 hour service on all 4 of my Kubota products, 3 with hydros and one with a GST transmission, I can tell you that many times there is no cross for the charge pump filter and Super UDT does make a big enough difference in preformance that I do not question their recomendations but follow them.

I lucked out with my dealer. He sells blue ag equipment as well as Kubota. He has several mobile service trucks that go out to service them. When we settled on a price for my 5740, I asked for the cost on a service contract for field service. The result was that there was no cost for it and travel time and labour would be a flat $98 plus parts.

The service guys do a complete inspection of the unit and make the required adjustments when and where needed.

I have yet to take my unit in for routine service. I live about 30 miles from the dealer, but the time and and cost of having to deliver and pick up is sure worth it.

A friend of mine who lives about 100 miles from the dealer has a 4740 that gets serviced for the same amount due to the dealer having ag equipment in the same area. They just schedule it at the same time.

Because of the "customer comes first attitude", I just went out and bought an RTV 900 with the notation of a service contract on the invoice. cost will be also 98 bucks.

Last 200hr service cost 284.75 including parts, oil, lube and taxes
