Oh yeah....I weighed my 6520 4WD with ML 275 FEL and 511 BH.........11080 pounds. So that is about right what the broucure shows for the 6520 and the BH and what Rback33 said the ML275 weighs. :) My truck and trailer weighs 9820 pounds and the weight on the trailer axles is 2660. So my trailer isn't over gross, but my combined vehicle gross weight is over by 4900 pounds. So I really need a Ram 3500. The trailer will be over gross if I put water in my front tires. So I need at the least a 16000 pound capacity trailer if I fill all 4 tires. :(

What is the max tire pressure I can run in my Ag tires on front? The book says 30, but yesterday while moving a whole sweetgun tree I noticed they were almost flat. I had the trunk caught in the bucket just above the roots and about 40 feet of tree hanging out the other side. I could feel my rear end, counterweighted with my 511 BH, starting to raise on each bump I went over. Needless to say when I noticed the tires, I dropped the load and pushed it to the burning pile. :(

HOLY SMOKES!!! A whole 40' sweetgum tree!! That would have to weigh close to 5000#!!! We cut down one of the 35 year old sweetgum's at mom & dad's last year... we figured that it was about 30' tall. Diameter at the stump was about 22 inches. That wood is HEAVY compared to oak or hickory, etc that I'm used to cutting.

That's a testament to Mahindra hydraulics (and the FEL and front axle!) if there ever was one! :D

Spyderlk,
I just noticed a small sidewall crack on mine. :( I wonder how many times in the past I have lifted something and drove off with it and didn't catch the almost flat tires. I think I may load my front tires. Any idea how much weight they are filled? I gather from your post above you are stating the tires are stiffer with them filled? Seems since I bought the Big Red Beast, I have been getting everything supersized. I bought higher weight rated trailer tires, I have been considering trading my Ram 2500 in on a Ram 3500.........and now it might be a case of heftier front tires on the Beast!!!   :D

you might look into foam instead of water. It is more expensive but may give you some structural benefits as well.

whether or not there is water or anything in there if it flattens or has a certain amount of weight on it you are going to exceed the recommended pressure. Just think of sitting on a baloon and making it pop if you wonder what i am talking about. Your tire will be doing the same thing.

Tim,
Thanks for the input.:) I guess that is another goal I can go far with my Mahindra............lifting so much weight it blows the front tires. :D Have you ever changed a tire with foam in it? It ain't fun.:( I have decided to just use air for now and inflate to max inflation. I should have checked tire pressure when I just got the thing. I would imagine it was over inflated, as I have lifted that much before and the tires didn't go down that flat.

Brandi,
The max inflation which is marked on the tire is 36 PSI. That says a lot for the power of the loader and a good testimonial for the tractor.

Road apples. A tire manufacturer's inflation guide on the side of a tire has nothing to do with "the power of the loader" and "a good testimonial for the tractor". That's salesman talk pure and simple.

tydp,

I'm pretty sure he was 1. giving the max tire inflation pressure as Brandi had asked for, and 2. Commenting on the load that she was carrying with the tractor and loader.

If you go back and re-read the first post of this thread, it may become more obvious...;)

That would make alot more sense. I guess the way he wrote it threw me.
