Opps! Never flipped it over to check the bottom for brackets. You would think if they are on the top they would be on the bottom! Why even put the center two on?

My thanks to you as well Bdavis... Been looking at the Rake for about a year, but at $359 I was playing the waiting game.... for $199 I'm in!
I called many stores in Louisiana. One person was helpful enough to tell me where there was one left. I called that store which is 120 miles from me and the store in my town. The store agreed to have it sent to our local store when the next truck comes thru in two weeks. So barring any excuses I think I have one :thumbsup:. If not, I got names and numbers (like that would do a lot of good :laughing: )
In the mean time, we hope to hear more of your stories of how they work out for your particular uses. Thanks again...

Mine did great on it's maiden voyage. It is really useful for clearing out the under brush. I wish it did a little better on saplings as I have a ton of them to clear out. I'm still working on figuring out the best approach to using it.

But all in all I would say it has far exceeded my expectations in using it. I cleared an area that would have taken day's with a chainsaw in a couple of hours. It works great for scraping the branches from tree's also. If you watch the video on the RR website I really want the stump puller attachment.

I would say for me this is the best attachment I have gotten for the tractor as I have a ton of under growth to thin out. It sure beats $4,000 for a Brush Shark.

They put the middle two brackets on, specifically on the 72" rake, to distribute the pressure over the entire edge of the bucket and not just the outer areas where the ratchets/cables attaches.

I called my local TS here and they said that they did not have one...
I called another one that is also local...
The sales person was very helpful and ran a list of all the stores close to me in their inventory listings...
Well guess what...
My local store showed one in stock...
I went over there and they have three, one of each size...
The 72" is too big for my little 54" bucket...
I will take it over to the community college and let them cut and re-weld the ears and mounting brackets on it for my tractor...
What a deal for $200...
Christmas came late...

I got a call today for a job right around the corner from my house, so I strapped on the RR and headed on down there. The existing material was flex base with a bit of grass in it that I ripped up and leveled using the RR. I had to remove some excess material since this driveway will be topped with crushed limestone later, but you can see the difference after its been compacted in the last photo. Sorry, it was getting pretty dark when I took it.

I really liked the was the rake worked and I can see it becoming a pretty good tool with more seat time. The leading (larger) teeth did a nice job of removing the short t-posts in the before photo. Just put pressure against the fence side of the posts and out they come. Heck of a deal for an attachment!

I never knew these things existed until seeing this thread. Well I can't pass up a bargain, particularly for a large chunk of steel, so I called my local TSC and waddya know, he had one in stock. I got the 72" one and look forward to trying out on some brush removal, but also want to see how it works on stripping patches of lawn. it definetly is heavy and seems well made, but now I have to wait till spring before trying it out.

The Zachary store just a few miles north of BR had one last week. You may have already called them but there number is 225 658 5881
THe sku # 1125031.
I know it was there because I went to the store for something else and I saw it. Most of the store people do not know what they look like. It was outside with the rotary cutters and other implements. Some of the other TSC's have them inside.
