72 inch Rachet Rake on sale at TSC $199

1 - Are they going to STOP MAKING the 72"?

2 - Can you order a 72" "ship to store"? (This is what the old guy at the Fredericksburg TSC suggested yesteray to me)

Stan, I can understand cutting the fire breaks. I picked one up today and I am anxious to see how it performs. I have 12 acres of brush that needs to be cleared.

The one I got today looked like it had been sitting around for quite awhile. I am just glad I got it. It looks like it should do the job quite well.

I am up to my eyeballs prepping for our horses to arrive tomorrow. There is no way I could get one before Monday soonest...

:thumbsup: If one of my fellow Virginian's was nearby to say Orange and went and grabbed the last one at $199 I've got at least an extra $20 for gas (plus my undying gratitude) if they happened to pick it up and dropped it off (heck I could come and get it AFTER Monday myself). :thumbsup:

I was planning on buying one with my next 10% off coupon, but concerned it would not work on my slash/mulching debris clearing, but at under $199 plus tax... I could use it only for trail clearing and it would rock I suspect...

One of the TBN'ers has offered to let me borrow his... I am sorely tempted to do so... Next week when I am past my raging deadline and can think clearly...

When TSC decides to discontinue an item they can get pretty aggressive with markdowns. I purchased 2 Champion 5500 watt generators that started out at $799 for $99. You just have to watch their clearance areas. Those generators may be chinese made but for that price...

I picked up one today and have been playing, er I mean working with it most of the day. I'd say it is going to be pretty useful, and for $199 is a heck of a deal.

I bought the last one in Bastrop Texas TS today. It's really heavy duty. The advantage over my tooth bar for brush (youpon, American beauty, cedar removal) is that there are two sets of teeth and they are spaced closer together so the brush does not slip through. More grabbing and dragging grip. Don't know if this has been posted but here is a video by Ratchet Rake:
