Ah yes, The famous Rt 224 Berlin Center by Berlin lake...Pass thru there going to Hargetts farm shop in Edinburg. Or going to White's in Atwater...

Tom

I'm new to this area. I spent most of my time in north central ohio. Im right off of ellsworth, about a mile down from the 224/45 "berlin mall" gas station. lol I love Whites... They are more my kind of people. Bucky (owner) is a real stand up guy. I'm going to upgrade probably next summer and buying from him for sure. He's got a Kubota Bx I want...but timing isn't right.

The only place in edinburg I know of is Miners... New Holland/Kioti dealership

Finally, after 3 months it was dry enough to try out my rachet rake for
about 45 minutes.

I have an area I cleared of saplings last fall with my chain saw and rotary cutter. Lots of stumble and some stumps 6-8 inches in diameter.

I was very pleased, the rake never moved and I hit some stumps that stopped my tractor an spun the tires. I attached a couple of before and after shots . The before shot does not really show how much tire destroying stumble was left (there was a lot) after I cleared it with the rotary cutter and chain saw. I am sure I could have used my box blade and do a good job on the area too. However, the thing I really like about the rachet rake is that I can leave my finishing mower on my tractor. That way when it is dry enough and I finish mowing I can spend a little time cleaning up a small area at a time. THen I will be able to keep it mowed. So I think it is really going to work for me.

Picked mine up today at for $199.00 TSC in Elizabethtown KY. Got the last one. There was a 68 inch there as well. They first guy I spoke to on the phone said they didn't have the mounting hardware. I called the manufacturer and they contacted the store and told me it was there and who to contact at the door.

I drove 90 miles one way to get it. I hope it was worth it!

I was hoping to use this to clear bush honeysuckle and multi flora rose. I have read about 100 pages of threads on the RR and don't recall anyone specifically using the RR for these two types of invasive plants.

Turned out to be much better than just the bucket for cleaning out the goat barn, And has been great on honeysuckle and kudzu. Been ab;e to pull out elder bushes that grow up along the creek bank. Had been using chain saw and brush saw previously--very labor intensive, but the ratchet rake made easy work out of it.

Worked over the Multi Flora Rose today. I didn't realize how huge that stuff had gotten. Anyway, it did great uprooting that stuff. I really didn't know what to do with it. Wonder if it will come back now that it is uprooted. Probably a question for another thread. Anyway, thanks to the OP and others about this product, it was definitely worth $199 to make my bucket more versatile. I might check out there other attachment as well.
