I got lucky and found the last 72" Ratchet Rake in Conway, AR by accident. I have a 66" bucket on my L3800, so I had gone down to buy the 68" version and had already paid full price for it! The manager was helping me load it up when I noticed that the 72" had the tag for the 54" model on it. I told him it had the wrong tag as that one was supposed to be quite a bit more than that, so he pulled it off. I then looked at the tag on the 54" and it had the $199 tag on it that said 72". He asked me if I wanted the 72" instead, I said yes so he took me inside and gave me a $140 refund. :thumbsup: It fits my 66" bucket perfectly, with just enough overhang on the edges for me to know exactly where it is.

The 72" should have been marked $199 normally.

Been using the rr now and it works great.
I have a real problem with privets and brush trying to take over my place. The rr rips them right out and I run over them with my cutter. Leaves a neat looking job.
Best $199 I ever spent on a tractor.

I agree X 2. The ratchet rake is one kiss-arse tool. It adds another dimension to the FEL's capabilities. Took it down to the pasture to see what it would do against 3" diameter Buckthorn. Ripped most of them (including roots) right out of the ground! For the ones it couldn't rip out push them forward 5 feet, applied downward pressure on the RR then backed up. That would cause them to bend then snap into. I was very impressed with the RR's performance! :thumbsup: Oh and did I mention it's FUN!

I got my 68" in Greensburg couple months ago. They didn't have any 72". I think (but not sure) if you call any TSC they can check inventory at other TSC's to see if any 72" are available.
