72 inch Rachet Rake on sale at TSC $199

Does anyone know if these are available at any of the Indiana TSC stores?
I live in south central Indiana.

I bought the last 72" in Seymour Indiana back about February when this thread was on about page 3. At that time I think Evansville had some 72also, but that has been awhile ago. Call your TSC and they can search the other stores.

I am new to tractors, actually just bought my first three days ago, 1996 john deere 955, but had come acroos the rachet rake web site a couple months ago and thought it looked like it would work for what I wanted to do. @ days ago I seen one at tractor supply in Schodack New York and thought ohh!! they sell them here (there was only one) cool. Last night while on the web site here I came across this discussion, so first thing this morning I hauled A** down to the TSC and bought my (Their last) 72 in. RR for 199. Thanks for the post....

I finally got to use my 72" Ratchet Rake and new Rip and Dig 5 in 1 Heavy Duty Trenching and Sod Shovel. I purchased the shovel that mounts to your bucket direct from ratchetrake.com.

We had planted some pampass grass several years ago to hide some utility equipment on the back of our lot. As pictured it had grown to over 8' tall and about 6' deep X about 20' long. Last years 9 degree freeze killed most of it. So my wife and I set out to use our ratchet rake and new bucket shovel.

The first picture shows the maze of tall grass plants. The second picture shows the first stab with the bucket shovel into the maze. The third picture shows the first big section I removed with the bucket shovel. Fourth picture shows 2 pickup loads of the maze completely removed in about 1 hour. Fifth picture shows the area I removed the maze of grass from. It also shows how I smoothed out and leveled the area with the 72" ratchet rake. The last picture shows the bucket shovel mounted and the ratchet rake behind the tractor on the ground.

Both these tools from ratchet rake are truly heavy duty. They both mount and unmount in less than 3 minutes. I highly recommend these two tools. They cut down a most of the day project to 1 hour of seat time. I paid a haul guy I use to haul off the 2 pickup loads of pampass grass.

That's great. You are the first person that I know of who posted up about the rip and dig. Sounds like it might be a nice addition!

Thanks for the thread comments and pictures. I brought the last 68" in Richmond and used it on saplings, related vines and brush.

I was really excited to use it and was amazed at the result. It is so good I did not want to take the rake off the FEL. So I ordered another to use on my box blade. It has arrived and I use both this week.

I will provide photos later this week. It is doing a faster job removing the than the rented Bobcat with Forestry Cutter. It pulled saplings out by the roots. I pushed forward and then back. The brush and vines back and then the MX5 rotary cutter mulched most of it.

Quite amazing! Thanks to all for the thread.

I stopped in at the TSC in Albany, GA again earlier tonight and they still had two 72" and I think a 52" or whatever the smaller size is. If I had a way to get one home, I'd buy another one. I work down here Sunday through Thursday and then fly back to NC for the weekend.
