Everyone here has their own opinion of what a tractor should or shouldn't have so I'll add mine, too.
The Clutch; For PHD use only it might be an advantage but, I am easily able to set on the seat, turn around to the right with my right hand on the postion control lever and with my left hand behind my back, operate the PTO control. Without having to be in position to have my left foot on a clutch I can turn around more completely in the seat to look backwards, too. The PTO control on my B3030 is very smooth. It engages quickly and smoothly just like putting an automatic transmission in a car in drive. No bang or jerk. I think it would work just fine for a PHD. It certainly works well with the MMM. As far as it being a safety issue allowing you to stop the tractor quickly, just letting up on the hydro pedal does the same thing.
No need to have the gear selector in neutral to start. As long as you do not have the hydro pedal pushed down it will start in any gear.
The tilt steering wheel pedal. This is the most underated feature on this tractor. You will not believe how handy it is until you use it. Very cool idea by the Kubota engineers. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
Toolbox; Adequate, nothing special about it.
Cupholder: Don't use it, Don't need it, Wonder why it's even there. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I trimmed the air snorkel off about 1/2" so it is not in the way when removing the radiator screen.
Last thing. Like someone else said, people try to make a B7800 into a B3030 but no one tries to make a B3030 into a B7800. Enough said.
