7800 VS 2630 - 3030

I do agree with toolguy & cart99, the 3030 is worth the extra coin. one thing 3030 owners dont seem to mention too much is the turning radius & agility, i make my living in the green industry & my 3030 is my primary machine, the power kubota packed into this light weight, well balanced tractor is amazing! The 7800 is a fine machine & a good value, however, if you are in this for the long haul, looking at lots of year round seat time, that extra coin will seem like short money when you set that position control to brush hog 4 or 5 acres, JMHO, Scott.

I also own a B7800 and the ONLY thing I don't like is what others have mentioned, the quarter inching valve. The position control is really worth the money. All the other 'extras' are nice and they certainly make the seat time more comfortable, but position control really goes to the heart of what we have tractors for. Spend the extra cabbage, you won't regret it.

Another vote for the B3030.

You should invest more right now for the tractor even if you have to forget an implement for the time being. You can buy implements later. If you look at it the other way around. If you pay less for the tractor and get more implements it'll be more expensive to upgrade the tractor later. The first tractor with hydraulic that I've bought was a BX23 (nice machine BTW). I kept it one year and switch for a B3030 last year. I must admit that I didn't look at the B7800 or 2630. I wasn't very happy to change the tractor, as you can imagine it costs me some $$. I needed something with more PTO HP. So go for the the B3030 right now it'll cost you less in the long run. You'll keep your tractor longer.

I have a carry all, a rotary cutter, and a landscape rake.

Works just fine for me.

I feel like I owe someone 1500 dollars, but don't know who?

Now I've got to figure out what to do with this "old looking tractor" .... Clearly, it's resale value is verplunkt - kabloinkt - kapuutinski ...

Maybe I can start belt sanding the loader arms and the hood ....

How do I get in these spots?

OK, I think the point is a tractor remains a tractor. A B7800, a B2630 or a B3030 will do the job no doubt about that. The best way to do it is to try all of them and choose the one you feel better on it. Anyways, it's always fun to be on a tractor doing a job. I'll give you an exemple: I had a Chrysler Neon 2000 and I liked that car. To replace it I got an Acura TL 2004 and you know what?... I hate it to death. So anyone of them could be a good match it depends on your feelings about it.
