790 stinks

when I lived in AZ, there were 3 medium sized JD Dealerships, and one large kubota Dealership. The Ford/NH went out of business, but the tractors did look good. Out there now the 3 JD Dealerships remain, but have gotten larger, that Kubota dealership is still the same size and still selling a lot too.

Re: 790 Exhaust stinks

Having one of those "odd little orange machines", I had problems with the exhuast stack catching branches and stuff. It had four bolts on the exhaust manifold. I was able to just unbolt it, turn it 90 degrees, and bolt it back up. The pipe on top was about 2.5' long, with a 90 at the end. I cut the 90 and about 6" of the pipe off, and attached that part to the muffler, so the final outlet was downturned. It works really well that way.

Just cut it off and ad a exhaust "flapper" and all is fixed. I had the same problem too until I made the cut.
