Had to do something to get out there... The wire is sized right, just the connectors not quite to code.![]()
I should add that the outriggers on a 47 backhoe (designed for the 4200) are one foot narrower than on the 8B. The 8B is the same outrigger width as a 48.I'd like to hear what Dave has to say, but I would think that somewhere between 2-6" from the tires would be a good distance.
With the mounting pics shown here its 9.5" at the bottom of the drawbar, 11" at the bottom of the subframe, and 14" at the bottom of the backhoe. What do you think?
That swing chain is certainly different. Never seen that kind of a setup before....
The limiting clearance is actually the chains now. I pulled the PTO shield and was ready to cut the lower hoe steps but now that I need to leave room for chains, everything else will fit anyway. I really like turfs in the snow, btw. With the chains I'm unstoppable. What is the limiting clearance?
Ditto. I just fit between my ROPS lights.you are going to bump your head on the ROPS. These JDs need taller ROPS. Good thing I am short
Thanks Roy! You're gonna like the next set of pictures...Job looks like it's going great, Arrabil!!!!
I guess the question "8B Backhoe On A 4200?" has been answered....
The drawbar was in the neighbor's scrap pile and will become the top link. The kid likes his new toy.
