Got the manual! Regarding the differential lock...
"To engage differential lock, allow all rear wheel movement to stop, then depress and hold the lock pedal while resuming ground travel. // To disengage differential lock, release differential lock pedal." It also says don't turn, don't drive on hard surfaces because the gearing will be stressed a lot.
