Well, i found out that the Yanmar has 990 hours, was used for christmas tree farming for $2800. I feel a lot better now and really want to get it next week. Im only 14, remember that.

I do not have a YM169D but I do have a YM186D and I love it. Last tractor I'll ever need (though I may get more). Never had a problem with it. I have never needed a part other then regular maintainence stuff. I would test drive it , make sure everything works and make them an offer. Mine it 18 hp. I would guess the 169 is 16. The 3 cylinder Yanmar is a smooth runner.

I saw 2 different 186D tractors but both were over my price range. Some time from thursday to saturday i will go see and hopefully purchase it. I looked on tractordata.com and found out that the 169D has 19 HP. I will take pictures. All I can think about is that little yanmar and what I will do with it first.

Well, my plan is to get it on friday. I have a series of things to inspect when i look it over and really want to buy it. I have been stairing at the picture of it for 5 days now, thats how bad i want it. The only thing that the owner said wasnt working was that one of the headlights was a little dim and he would fix it for me. I plan to get an imatch system, SMV sign, and a fire extinguisher for it as my first added things for it. I will take pictures.

It comes with a 40" brushhog. I have a boxblade, grader blade, harrow, and pallet forks waiting to put on it. They are all mine.

I plan to bring the tractor home this weekend and use my grader blade to grade the driveway and maybe go show the neighbors my new toy. From what the guy has said about it, it is very well taken care of, never slept outside, and he used it to mow and cultivate inbetween rows of christmas trees so I am pretty sure it is coming home tomarrow. When i get it, i'll add it to my signiture and post pictures. It will be hard to sleep tonight. Now i just need to make room for it in the heated garage.

I am so happy! I am now the proud owner of a Yanmar 169D and a field mower. I drove it around, tested everything posible, and hauled it home. It got a welcome home by me greasing it and showing it off to my little cousins. It may be 40" wide now but I am going to widen it out to the widest setting for stability. i get to play with it all weekend with my grader blade and show it to the neighbors. I cant wait to do snow removal! I sure did impress the seller since i am 14 and wanted a tractor. I will upload some pictures soon!
