It would be nice if all you had to do is move the mouse pointer over the tractor model and data such as weight, PTO HP, years built would magicaly appear.
Somehow I knew this would go over like a lead balloon.
Engine or PTO HP will tell you more about a machine than any other single pc of info, IMHO.
A skilled writer would weave that information into his post to better communicate his point and define his questions but some of us only took English in high school because it was required and Lisa Lou sat one row over and looked soDAMgood in those denim miniskirts.
I agree that if you don't know the tractor mentioned off the top of your head you might not be the best reader to offer advice about it but, for those that are reading trying to learn about tractors before they buy them it would be easier to have the OP stick that info in the first line and save fifty visits to tractor data.com.
You could put it into a facts bracket (JD5045E/45/39/6500) etc. but new readers would have to have it explained to them and some of the nit picky people might have quite a time debating the proper way to post those numbers and which numbers to count. Base machine vs as ballasted vs including loader and back hoe weight vs including ballast box on 3PH. and on and on.
