I found out today that their cultipacker is 53 1/2 wide and weighs #290 lbs.. Not bad for brand new at $479--- easly add 100lbs to it...

If you add 300 pounds to that, then, you will be able to cultipack. I am afraid if you add that much weight to the machine the Chinese packer wheels and end bearings will not hold up very long. Those Chinese packer wheels are only $8.49 each at agri supply. Ken Sweet

A ring roller has a large diameter pipe for a axle and the rings are left to float. These smaller rings have hole to insert a solid axle shaft 1-3/4", I think. The rings can't float or follow the ground contour as well. I wonder if anyone has thought about cutting out the spoke and mounting them on a pipe like the big guys? I would think it would work if the rings hold up. bjr

A real 6 ft cultipacker should look like this and weigh around 800 + lbs. Ken Sweet
