Can anyone offer suggestions as to what happened? :confused3::confused::confused3:
The oil in my engine has become jelly.
6 months since the last oil change and not been run much at the time, can not see traces of coolant in the oil and the correct level when I have measured. The same type of oil that has been used all the time. Oil type that has been used is the Super Turbo D5 and maintain requirements including Allison C-4.
10W-40 Part Synthetic.

I don't know exactly what the problem is, but coolant in oil can be hard to detect. The oil system is not sealed like a radiator is. The coolant can evaporate out, and results in lots of sodium in the oil. This leaves you with sludge ( very thick oil ). My experience was in automotive engines that had defective head gaskets, the oil lost lubricity due to the contamination, resulting in engine failure. Engine oil analysis can be done for approximately $50? Been awhile, so I don't know current charges.

Yes it is reminiscent of coolant in the oil, the problem is that it has not disappeared water from the radiator. Oil has not the gray color typical of that problem. It's almost so I suspect sabotage. Oil samples will be sent, just waiting for container to sample from the laboratory. It costs about 100 U.S. Dollars or 600 NOK where I live.
