You can spec them out on Kubota's web site. Money wise, I'm thinking about US$3000.

I almost bought the 3030 open model, but the additional gadgets weren't appealing to me. Now that I would consider an enclosed model, I'd do it in a heartbeat, had I have not just bought this 7800. They are the same tractors other than options and the different hood design.

The B7800 & the B3030 are far from the same machine! From the pto to the 3 point hitch, from the lower links to the cruise control, from the hydraulic outlets to the style, very different, Both fine machines, but very different.

My post was linked to the previous post where the subject of FUEL CONSUMPTION was being discussed, NOT PRICE. Can someone give me an idea on fuel consumption? Lawn_king, you had a B7500. How does the fuel consumption compare with the B3030?

I never owned a b7800, i owned a b7500. The 3030 consumes more fuel as you should expect (4 cylinder & 9 more horses) however you get so much more for the additional consumption.

I recently moved up to a B3030HSDC from a B1750HST. Serious difference! I had the B2660 5 foot front snowblower with it. The 20HP B1750 really handled the 5 foot blower better than one would think,but it wasn't hard to keep it full enough to keep the engine maxed right out all the time-full load at full RPM=maximum fuel consumption. I always got 2/3 gallon/hour. My place is a one hour snowblow or plow job(yes,time is equal)and every third time,I could put in 2 gallons. Mind you,that's absolutley all the fuel that could possibly be put through that engine.
On another note,a neighbor has a L3010 30HP hydro and he reports 1 gallon/hour when he's really working it.
This leads me to conclude(hey,I've been wrong before)a 30 HP diesel would be expected to use about 1 gal/hr in hard use. Of course,lower RPM's and lighter load would reduce that figure. And then one would have to factor in the AC usage-Lawn King reports a 20% increase in fuel use with AC at high RPM. I'm taking him to mean it was more noticable when using the tractor hard. I don't have enough experience with mine to comment on how much extra the AC uses.
And then I think about the tanker loads of gasoline I've poured into my old Dodge Power Wagon in 20 years of plowing and these tractors seem to make fuel! Hope this helps and wasn't too boring. Good Day.
