Accessorize my new air compressor

Re: Accessories my new air compressor

when piping the air compressor, notice the line take off the top of the line, and there are drip legs on all out lets,

by draining the machine daily and by following the piping diagram in the picture, you will nearly eliminate the majority of the moisture in the compressed air, the large tank you looking at helps as well as the air going into it is cooled and the moisture condensed,

BIG DOOLEY has some excellent pictures but a few changes in the piping would help a lot on the potential moisture content of the air,

What everyone on here has said is correct...
I am in the process of adding an inline water condensate trap to my system...
The air dryer is the best option but the most expensive...
The schematic shown is correct in configuring the line from the tank...
This will trap the majority of water out of your lines...

I guess this thread stuck in my mind today.
I decided to unbolt my compressor from the floor after dinner and I added a 1/4" drain line to remove moisture from the tank.
No more crawling under the tank with rags wiping up the mess.
I ran the line into a plastic jug.
