Adding 4 wheels to a bush hog ??

I realized tonite that I never posted a picture of my $250 finish mower.

60 inch Big Bee brand. Mite even be rear discharge.
How can I tell if it is rear discharge or side discharge.
It has an opening on one side that mite be a place for a discharge chute.
But it doesn't have a chute.
And all the discharge seems to go rite out the back.
So it works just like a rear discharge mower.
I would like to have some official confirmation on this tho.

When I was doing some research when replying to a post, I read the rotary cutter manual (Servis-Rhino) recommended raising the cutter slightly (2"-4") when turning. I'm assuming this is to prevent scalping or the side skirts digging in.

Anyway, you might want to slightly raise your cutter during turns...might solve the problem.

Some newer bush hogs seem to have an extra link between the top link and the high point of the attachment frame. I assume this lets the mower ride the ground a little better since it has some play. Anyone know about this?

Also on older ones. Do you mean the bit on the topling in the picture. It allows movement in the toplink so the topper can follow bumps, but also allows it to be picked up.
The attachment shows it when lifted (leaned forward) and resting on the groung (tipped back).
It worked well.

Yes, that's what I mean. I think I'll add one to mine to see how it works. Ones I've seen may be a bit longer than in the picture, probably because it's a longer, rotary cutter. Thanks for the photo. Jim
