I just mounted a pair under the top of my ROPS using a 1"x3" piece of oak (an idea I read here on TBN). I used 2" square U bolts, cut 2 blocks of the oak for spacers, and ran the wire up the back side of the folding ROPS. Be careful though, the hinge point on the ROPS provides one of the best wire cutters you can ask for /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif. I used longer bolts for the mounting brackets so I could place extra washers to allow the lights to be turned forward or backward, whether the ROPS is up or folded down. I also used the plug in type solderless connectors, so all I have to do is remove two U bolts and unplug, the whole light bar is off. The U bolts also served as a close point for the ground wires.
All I have left is to put a switch in the line. The dealer told me the auxiliary wire by the tail lights of my TC24D was part of the headlight circuit, which I took to mean it was through the switch. Nope - it's hot all the time the key is on. Having them independent is better anyway, I find the headlights to be a pain when the FEL is on.
