Brad, so that means it comes with a sleeve or some other type of internal system to separate the high pressure from the return?

It should look a lot like this:

Judging from the Surplus Center pic, it's all set up for power beyond, just plumb the power beyond, inlet, and tank ports.

Run the working port hoses to a plate with bulkhead fittings that tighten to holes in the plate, and attach your quick connects to the other side of the bulkhead fittings.
Wow, bulkhead fittings are hard to find. Here are some. Stay away from brass as they are only rated for 1200psi.

I see, when you add the plug as in the illustration, it does the same thing as when you add a sleeve in other valves.

Why aren't bulkhead plates prefabricated?

Brad,

I am not so sure the valves come set up with PB. It is usually an option. It will be a screw plug in this valve, under the hex nut.

glukowicz,

When you order the valve, ask about the PB screw adapter, if it is included.

The only way to know is to ask Surplus or when you receive it, unscrew the hex nut and look for the screw.

The page from Prince also shows the remote cables operation.

Did you need a new valve for your new joystick? Do you remember what valve you purchased and where you got the joystick? Also if you used only 2 hoses do you only have 1 set of rear remotes? I need 2 sets of emotes, one to angle and one to tilt.

Hi JJ,
I would put money on the valve coming with the plug.
Compare the description "with power beyond" of the valve we are discussing with the description of the second linked item that requires a sleeve that is sold separately.

Glucowicz,
It is possible to add 2 diverter valves to your existing 2-spool loader valve. I thought it was gone over earlier in this thread and you decided to go with the full set of remotes. I just added a diverter to my tractor to operate the grapple on my loader. I added a switch from NAPA to my existing joystick handle. It works great and the plumbing is clean especially since the grapple is on the loader. For multiple functions not associated with the loader I think the economy and convenience of the solenoid diverters are diminished.

I used the $110 valve 220-934 at the bottom of this page:
Hydraulic Cylinder Components, Products
It doesn't look like the picture and it came with no instructions but it did come compete with the electrical connector and it works great.

If you look at the last picture Flusher's nice dealer installed setup the bulkhead bracket looks like a piece of 3/16 plate welded to a piece of angle iron. Not a mass produced item. The $1000 factory kit might come with a nice bracket. A bi-metal hole saw will put holes in plate if you want to make it yourself. A friendly shop with an ironworker machine can make one to your sketch pretty quickly.

glukowicz,

You never did say if your FEL valve had PB and is it in use?

Before this gets confusing again, what do you really want to do?

Did you consider a joystick valve for the tilt and angle?

Brad,

I called Surplus about the PB screw, and they did confirm that the screw was installed in this valve. Therefore, it is ready for PB use as is.

My FEL valve has PB, it goes to TPH. I want to operate a scrape blade with the hyd for angle and tilt.

No, I haven't considered a joystick valve, but I am open to any ideas.

Was my understanding of the plumbing of the valves correct in a few posts back?
