Adding Rear remotes

The PB from one valve should feed the IN port of the next valve until the last valve which is the 3pt. All the OUT ports of each valve should go to tank.

Some of the switches on some tractors will let you do BH, or 3pt.

Do you have a manual for your tractor and does it tell you how to set up a remote valve or BH situation?

So in my valve, the "p" is the in port and the "t" is the out, correct? And the "pb" will go to the 3 pt hitch since this valve is receiving power from the FEL valve and then goes to 3 pt hitch.

Yes, that is correct.

Do you have a hyd gage? If you were to put a hyd gage in a tee, at the input to the first valve in series, any lever activated would reflect the pressure in that circuit.

If you have the hoses plumbed as stated, then the valve should work.

You said the 3pt worked, so the fluid for the 3pt should flow out the PB port of the remote, and if that is true, then the work ports of the remote should be working.

I am talking general hyd flow path here, so if your tractor is different, let us know.

I don't have a gauge, but could get one. I suppose I would install it before the quick connects to see if there is pressure there?
You lost me when you asked about general hyd flow. I don't understand what that means.

The basic tractor with only a 3pt, the pump flow is from the pump directly the 3pt.

Once you add a FEL, the flow is from the pump to the FEL, and then the 3pt. and as you add things like remotes, the flow is like this. Pump FEL, remote, 3pt and tank.

Some tractors with BH, go from the FEL to the BH, then remotes, and tank.

As long as these open center valves are in series, they all should work, with the valve up stream having priority, that is assuming that all the IN, PB and OUT ports are connected properly.

Some PB outlets come out the side of the tractor, but as long as you have the hyd flow in series, everything should work.

Do you have a hyd schematic of your tractor? If so , can you post it?

No I don't have a schematic of hydraulics. I will get photos and check that the PB adapter is there tomorrow.

I just started noodling about adding a grapple bucket to my FEL and tip and tilt cylinders to the 3PH (three new spools total). The diagram on the 2nd page of the link in Brad_Blazer's 8/23 post is super helpful as is this entire thread. One question I may have missed if it was answered --- is the pressure relief option needed on any new spools I add or is the one built into the FEL's spool (being 1st in line) enough? The diagram indicates it is optional and that it has to be set higher than the FEL relief if it is present in the circuit. I am thinking I would like to avoid 3 relief valves, the associated extra piping and the setting of their relief points. Thank you.

The first valve in the series circuit should have he relief valve, however if the other valves have reliefs, they should be set the same, or lower if you want to protect that circuit. Any valve downstream from the lower relief pressure valve will be subject to that lower pressure.

One relief is all that is necessary, and should be first valve after the pump, with no QD,s between the pump and first valve.

I checked plumbing and it seems right. I checked for PB plug and it is in there. Photo below. I can't get photo to load. Not sure what my problem is, but checked and lines are going to where they are supposed to.

In the photo of the valve on Surplus' site. If you look at the right hand lever, there are 2 ports in line with the lever. These are the ports that go to one cylinder, right? It does not get plumbed so that the ports directly behind the levers go to one cylinder and back 2 go to another, is it?
