Rec'd my shanks and teeth today
6 shanks #16S7-8-23 @$6.90 each
10 teeth @$2.09 each
15 flex pins @$1.00 ea.
Also purchased locally 48" of 1/2" X 3" flat stock to mount the shonks on.
I did a 'trial fit' and it will be a great tooth bar. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
The FABCO catalogue took me a bit of time to all figure out, but I am pleased to say that I got it right. ie the right shank/tooth for pins combination. Also that shank is the real mcoy for a 1/2 x 3" tooth bar.
It will be a simple weld without any fitting/grinding job.
Since I am in Canada you note that I also bought 'spares' as Murphy's law says that I'll loose odd pins and a tooth or 2. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
Also since the center teeth will wear less than the corners, I'll be able to do a bit of rotation/replacement.
