I just did, I couldn’t imagine it, either, but I did

Oh yes, I forgot about that. I was not being insulting. Was just talking about myself. I don't have enough need for a truck like that. Maybe a pic?

I have a set on my 2500 that I paid like $130 for. They seem to be as solid as OEM mirrors.

I make a living with my truck and my 08 550 was failing me and repair bills were becoming ridiculous. I have 3 of them. Rocker arms, DPFs, HP fuel pumps, turbos....
I was ready for a change. Still have 2. The 350 flatbed had turbos at 125 and rocker arms at 175 and a newer used DPF. The 250 shorted super cab needs an oil cooler ($1500) and has a new CAT, DPF and exhaust.

The 550 was paper thin on rocker arms and had the dreaded 鍍urbo oil return line leak?

Great trucks, terribly unreliable, over complicated motor, but when running right, they pull like you wouldn稚 believe.

Oh I really like the middle one!!!!

I would never say trucks haven't gotten better. But I would say the repair costs have sky rocketed. Both of my trucks are 7.3s. I've gotten along very well with them. But I'm sure I don't work them as hard as you do. My use is pleasure with some trailer towing thrown in.

I'm hoping to stay in the old 7.3 trucks as long as I can. My "new" one is an '02 with 136K miles. I put on about 1,000 miles a month. It should last me several years.

Thanks for the pics!!!

I had the Ebay cheap knock-offs on my 2001 F350 & I didn't have any issues with them.... (sold the truck with them in 2011)... but had them installed for at least 3yrs prior. They were the upgraded version, like the ones you referenced, & they were fine.. no issues... I had to do some wiring magic because the 2001 had a different connector but the mirrors were good... Had to swap mine out do to a turkey not quite making flight clearance prior to meeting my truck....

I bought the Yimita or some **** ones about 2-3 years ago for my fleet of 7.3's and have had no problem with any . Definatly a lot bigger than the originals but they would be the same as yours some of my trucks make yours look like cream puffs . All except all the repair bills my stockers I haven't done anything but Alt. brakes batteries . All with 3 -4 hundred thousand miles. most daily drivers. Oh and rust are you kidding me I have seen transparent rockers and wheel wells on the road . My kids truck he has to push the sides of the bed together to get the tail gate to latch. Bed time for that one .:(:drink:
