I have a functioning Allis Chalmers disc I'd like to learn more about.
It has a Category 2, 3-point hitch.
It is a 9-foot disc. (2) v-shaped rows of discs. Each row has (14) 20" diameter discs. The rows and angles are not adjustable.
It has sealed bearings. Scrapers on each disc.
There was a spring-loaded, screw-actuated mechanism for adjusting down pressure, but someone welded it into a solid unit.
Can anyone tell me anything about this disc? Model #? Year? Care and feeding? Other?
Any thoughts will be appreciated.
