Thats good to know. I would not necessarily say that Super UDT is necessarily "much higher". TractorSmart is $33.75 per 2.5 gallon of Super UDT vs the Chevron price of $30 per 2.5 gallon based on your figure of $12 per gallon. The drawback would be shipping at Tractorsmart but no tax. I will look into the Chevron as I use their Delo oil almost exclusively. Thanks for the tip.
PS - just because the Amsoil does not meet the Super UDT as they claim, I do remember it exceeded the UDT specifications.

The smallest container Chevron packages theirs in is a 5 Gallon Pail.
It also has an orange color , supposed to be able to see it better on a dipstick and helps detect leaks by the color.

Mike, now you've really got me wondering. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif I thought it was in my TC-40D manual, but I'll have to check. My tractor is an '01, and I think the fluid was pretty new at that time, so maybe if your tractor is older, that's why it's not in there. My manual is out in the barn, and the snow is still coming down, so I'll look later when I get to plowing. Everyone always suggests it as an alternative for us folks living in the north country to improve cold weather performance and reduce hydro whine. Anyone else, feel free to chime in!
Mike, throughout my TC-40D manual, the reference is always to the NH134 fluid, however on the first page of the section titled "Lubrication and Maintenance" (section 3 in my manual) where it lists various fluids in a table, it lists the "200" fluid for all-weather operation in cooler climates.

Did they change the properties of the oil or did they change the the specification wording? I would want to know what has changed since a few months ago.....
