An easier way to refuel your tractor

The input was about what I expected except for the water making goo part, condensation I didn't think of, I dont want goo 3 years down the road or drain/wash barrel. I'd consider 250 gal if I used it up in 1 year but right now my 30 gal barrel was filled back in May , still 3/4 full. For the past few years my high usage has been in the winter time, so the way it's going now this fuel will go right into spring.

Maybe I should have made the 'goo' statement more clear... How about you have to drain off the crud that collects in the bottom of the tank once in a while. I call it goo because it looks gooey.

This dont happen in tractors does it? I never drained my tank, I just fill back up when fuel gauge says low.

The last one was a blue heron on my dock. This one is a bald eagle taking off. He* was having lunch of some sort on the railing prior to taking flight. I only have my phone to take pictures with so the pictures are quite grainy.

*considering the size it might have been a she. Females are larger than males in bald eagles.

I take it the railing is down by the lake and eagle must of saw you coming, so how far away was you when you took the picture?

I did the 5 gallon jug game and roaded to the fuel station in the tractor and finally stepped up to bulk tanks. That is the way to go, but does cost a good amount initially. Sorry about the photo, only thing I had on my phone.

The problem I see is that you plan to run summer grade fuel when January comes. You might consider cutting it with some winter grade fuel.

Where did you you find that pump. I have been looking for something like that. I can hardly lift those containers anymore.

From reading several threads here and on other boards about people having to remove, drain and clean fuel tanks and replace filters, etc., I'd say it can, and does.

Which pump? Several have been discussed.

The pump you were using to pump from the can sitting on the ground to the tractor tank. I think it was a yellow pump and filling a red tractor. It was posted by guitarman in September.

Shared it before but this might work for some of you, you can get one on Amazon for just under $20 it is for diesel or oil empties a 5 gallon can in just under a minute with can on ground and my fuel inlet is between 5 and 6 ft from ground. I just connect it to a ground and the hot on starter because that is the handiest on my tractor.View attachment 614136

Are you talking about this one?

Next time quote the post for something like this when there have been so many different ones discussed.
